Introducing new children's author Michelle Gannon

What an honour to receive an email from a wonderful new author from Halesowen named Michelle Gannon.

Local writer Michelle has self published and released her first children's book WOLL, Wizard Of Love and Laughter and is going to be doing a reading in Waterstones in Merry Hill on Monday 10th March

Michelle told us "The story is about a young boy called Michael and a Wizard called Woll which stands for Wizard Of Love and Laughter. Woll has a beautiful magical bird called Plopscious who gets stolen by the Evil Wizbashers. Michael and Woll set out on a magical adventure to save Plopscious, making friends including the Spuddle Spiders, Gobbling Gorillas, freezeflies and many more along the way".

It is well worth a visit to Michelle Gannon's website for an insight into her magical and intriguing world of wizards, birds and beasts. My 5 year old daughter Alice has just arrived back from school and here we sit enjoying reading the profiles of some of Michelle's wonderful characters. Alice says "this book looks really enjoyable, I like the look of King Coco best" and we would both love to try an egg from Plopscious the magic bird.
