Wonder No More as Parent-Sized Baby Equipment is Unveiled

Expectant parents are often full of questions about what life is like for their newborn. Now many of them may be answered as they will actually get the chance to experience life as baby firsthand. In a major first, Fisher-Price have created amazing parent-sized versions of some of their most popular nursery items including a giant baby bouncer! This over-sized baby gear would be enough to amaze even Gulliver and is set to be unveiled today at The Baby Show, in association with Bounty, at the NEC, Birmingham.

These jumbo scale nursery items will offer parents a unique chance to road-test Fisher-Price baby gear by trying it out themselves. They have been created to help give parents a deeper understanding of the reasoning behind baby product development and offer the best opportunity ever to really get inside their baby’s world. Dr Kathleen Alfano of the world-renowned Fisher-Price Play Lab explains;

“We hope that these over-sized nursery items will give parents a unique insight into their baby’s world. A huge amount of expertise goes into product design and each element has been considered carefully. Lights, sounds and actions are not just for show, they play an important part in babies’ development and, through giving these items a try themselves, we hope parents will come to understand the importance of these aspects.”
