Learning Disability Week

Learning Disability Week is a national awareness week run by Mencap every year. It is a great chance for you to get involved in raising awareness about the issues that are important to people with a learning disability and their families and carers.

Mencap is the country's leading learning disability charity and we would like to invite you to an event Mencap is hosting on Friday 20th June in conjunction with Wolverhampton Local Authority. The event will be addressing issues that people with a learning disability face in getting or sustaining meaningful work opportunities, but who can work well with the right support.

We are targeting local and national agencies and people that have a strong equal opportunity ethos and understand the benefits of a workforce that is representative of the local community.We would very much appreciate your support and look forward to hearing from you.
