
If you go down to Izaak Walton’s Cottage in Stafford on Sunday (12 July) you’re sure of a big surprise - because the popular visitor attraction will be hosting a teddy bears’ picnic.
Family fun activities include a bouncy castle, Punch and Judy, balloon modelling, face painting, as well as traditional outdoor games of skittles, bowls and croquet.
The Stafford Borough Council-run event will also be hosting story-telling sessions for youngsters, a teddy bear quiz, name the teddy competition and complimentary craft stalls.
Visitors can stroll around the Herb and Rose Gardens and enjoy a relaxing break with tea and cakes, biscuits and ice cream which are available from the shop.
