Dear Editor,
This is the second year a small village in North Warwickshire, Grendon, has presented the Christmas story outside, at night, in the garden of my mum!
The vision of a local couple Ian and Ann Perry, along with Glynis Gayton, have everything in place once again for a trip back to Bethleham. The stage is set with the arrival of the angels, Mary and Josephs confusion of the situation and the dramatic entrance of Gabriel. Herods rage and the buslte of Bethlehams Inn, helped along by the local village bakery next door ! The gentle shepherds and grand Kings find their way as Mary and Joseph make their lonely way to the stable. Finally the joyfull event takes place ( with our very own proper baby!) and Christmas begins. All the story is linked together through selected pieces of music and carols for all to join in with.
Tickets are £5 for adults £2 children and the performances are in December 3,4,5 starting at 7pm.
