BBC Radio WM presenter Arshia Riaz joined the Directors of The Curry Republic to officially open their new delivery kitchen in Sutton Coldfield.

The host of Midlands Masala show undertook a ribbon cutting ceremony, chatted to the chefs and observed food preparation in the open plan kitchen before sampling one of the authentic dishes.

Director and General Manager Samir Malvankar said: “We were delighted to welcome Arshia to officially open our new business – and to find out that she lives within our delivery area - so we look forward to seeing her again soon!”

Located at 4 Chester Road, opposite The Beggars Bush public house, the outlet has undergone a major refurbishment and now offers fine Indian cuisine for either take away or delivery. The Curry Republic brand focuses on quality, freshness and excellent service. All dishes are freshly prepared to order and packaged in recyclable containers, which seal in heat and flavour.

Opening promotions include a free starter for orders of £20 or more on take away or delivery and a 10% discount on collection.
